i've never had too much luck with bass on the large lake at Amelia, there's a bite but it's finicky. If you want black crappie, its a good spot.. there's even a few perch

i'm mostly on private ponds or launching a john at watkins

 

I have never fished Amelia. No gas powered boats out there.


Spring gobbler opens next saturday, who plans on going ?

 

Anyone go out today? Saw two hens this morning but that was it. Had to call it a day early because if my buddys wedding.

On a brighter note, some clown stole my vest and back pack out of the back of my friends truck at the hardees in west point this morning. Had my calls, shells and some other shit in it. Hope they open the bottle of tinks that was in it from deer season and get doe piss all over them.

 

i have it on good authority that the blue knights are going to sell that stuff on the black market.
