save your money and dont build it till something breaks. and if it does, use stock rods.
I just meant for reliablility issues.......But i'll take this into consideration........

350rwhp is quite reliable given good rich tune. 12:1 pings a bit, i had to go 11:1

the weak point in the SR20 is related to RPM not power level. If it were a KA i'd aggree with your reliability issues.

it aint daily driven i'll tell you that. atleast not at 28psi its not. i dont think hes raced it yet at 28psi i think he set it at 20 the last time he ran to get used to the car.

scott in Florida (enthalpy with secret services) made a 500+ pull and then went out that night to run a N2O Fbody. he continued to race it at the high boost level. he now tells me he had a lean run and it burned a piston. not like a KA where it BREAKS something like a ring land.

Greaser, how do you like the S4's? Do you run any cam gears? I wouldnt mind runing those on a big turbo like you have, but I see people using the S4's on T25's and T28's. Overlap + backpressure=bad...

I love the cams. But DO NOT over rev past 7500 you WILL take out a rocker arm.

i dont run any cam gears cuz i'm cheap.

If i didnt damage the cams during the series of rocker breaking i would continue to use them. My next project with an SR20 i'll try stock cams. since it wont be a boosted project (300shot) i think stock cams may be just fine.

The GT28RS will perform very well. The NS-111 turbine wheel can flow alot, but it will be hard pressed to get you to 350 whp. It will more likely max out around 300-325 whp. It will spool just as fast as a small T28 though, if not faster. Just go with the T3/TO4E .63 a/r in a 50 trim compressor, trust me. It is a very common setup for a reason.

The GT28RS has a 76 trim turbine in either a .86 or a .64 A/R (On this turbo go with the .86, the .64 is to small and it already spools insanly fast). The compressor is 60mm, 62 trim, and in a .6 A/R housing. It is dual ball bearing. A GT28RS will run you around 1200 bucks, alot more then a T3/TO4E.
