yea no shit. as kool at they looked on my car, i dont like em....i want some of those new 5 spokes that are on the 2004 EX's...they are really pimp.


btw, thanks guys. im painting them next tuesday. im trying to convince em black w/ a polished lip will look good. if not, then i'll just have to paint em silver again :-/ thanks for the help.

I basically did the same process as urvtecs2slo, get those bad boys as CLEAN as possible and take you time! Can't stress that enough, if you don't clean it properly, the paint wont stick as well and start to fade over time. I did about 3 coats of primer, 6 coats of paint, and 3 coats of clearcoat and my stock rims looked badass. You want the polished lip look right? Use painters tape, it's the blue kind that stretches some. Tape off that part and get to work, one thing that i did that worked really well from keeping the paint off the tire was to take those long soda boxes (the fridge pack) and cut them to size to match the rim, you should be able to place this "protector" around the very outside of the rim and the tape will help keep the "protector" nice and tight.
