i would just go to court. pace tickets dont hold up to well. i went to court on a pace ticket for 92 in a 65 and the judge dropped it. also your insurance company still sees it as wreckless driving regardless of what the ticket says. but if you go to court the judge normally drops it to a speeding speed

72 on 264? That's the flow of traffic. VA needs to raise that speed limit up.

 

i meant that they will drop the speed on the ticket to a normal speeding not wreckless so that way your insurance company sees it as speeding

i got a 71 in a 55 on 664 before the tunnel......went to court and the judge dropped it down to 64 mph.....ended up costing me $101. My ticket said 11:00, i got there at 10:30 and the judge called me before 11 came around. In and out in half hour. Maybe NN is different then others though.

 

Actually, I think voluntarily taking drivers improvement only gives you 3 merits (again every two years only), and if you are ticket free when you turn 21, you automatically get 5 merits. At 16 you start out at 0...

At least that's all I can vaguelly remember from drivers ed. I might be wrong with some of the numbers though.

 

You got pulled over doing 72 on 264? It's 55 there right? I always do 79 on the highway around here, driven right by cops plenty of times. Do you have some ricemobile or something?
