Like others said your best bet is not even put it up there because cops may notice it being in your windshield quicker than noticing that you don't have one on the front.

I bought my car and it didn't have the factory license plate filler (which I thought looked 100x better), so I bought one and keep my plate inside my car under my passenger seat.

That cop is a dick everytime I come through Gate10, but he has to suck it up and deal with it when he sees that mine is in the window. If it weren't for him it wouldn't even be in the damn car.

So far I haven't been pulled over for not having one, eventually I'll get pulled over for it, but oh well, I'll just put it on and go to court or something. I don't even know where I put it come to think of it...

I used to put my plate on my window because my license plate holes were shaved on my bumper and when I got pulled over, the cop told me about the whole "projectile" thing and that it could decapitate me if I was to get in an accident. After that, I just kept the front plate under my seat and I never got pulled over again for it. Keeping it on the window like flo w fx said makes it stick out like a sore thumb and gives them a reason to pull you.
