Should be a bike newbie soon....
If you want a fast bike and HAVE to have a new one and want a 4, just get a Honda 599.. Its not as fast as the newer 600's, but it sure is more than fast enough, and it looks great..
you guys, this is gonna be a street bike right? you will never even come CLOSE to using any late model 600cc bike's potential on the street.. there is a big difference between a street bike and a track bike lol..

You might know how to ride, but will you also be able too watch everything else going on around you?
Its really not about how much power the bike has or how much self restraint you have. If you are going down saw the Brambleton bridge( we all know what Im talking about) and you hit that bump at the beginning a twist your wrist, your ridding a wheelie if your lucky. If not your dead or seriously hurt.
The new fuel injected bikes have so much power you can just power wheelie one, and thats not what a new rider should have.

Riding a bike is a bit different than being skilled rider. A skilled rider takes time to develop and the right bike to learn from. Yeah, any retard can go 100mph on a straight away, take that same retard on a 30mph curve and they are slower than a snail.
You want to ride a bike that you're not worried about making mistakes due to the power of the bike. They produce beginner bikes for a reason although not popular, its the most sensible way to go.
I ride a 500 right now, i've ridden several other 600's and yeah they're fast. But a lot of things to consider, ..ie, insurance, maintenance, learning the sport. A 500 can get u to 130mph ...but before you get there, you actually have time to think about getting up to that speed.
with a 600, you will not have time to think about getting up to 100mph, it goes that fast. and if you're unskilled, you will not have the time to react to your surroundings.
Love the sport....and not the bike..too many people get killed out there as it is.
