no he doesn't, because he has no clue what he's talking about. turbo b20's are the the most popular b-series to turbo right now, and are also producing the best results. but you can't go wrong with an LS either.

There's plenty of already built LS, GSR, and b20's going for good prices. You will also be able to piece together a turbo kit from there or just buy a used turbo kit altogether. Ive seen the decent fmax/drag/revhard kits going for around $1200-2000 with anywhere from 3k to 10k miles on them.

 

your right i have no idea......its not from experience...its from what ive been told.....and yes a 2.0 would be better, but the sleeves are that weak that its probably cheaper to go LS....thats just my opinion....do as you wish though...its your car and your choice of motor

 

cha-ching. just cause some asshole on honda-tech blew a b20 at 0.6psi because he put a shitty turbo, no fuel management, a healthy shot of nitrous and the proceeded to bounce it off the rev-limiter for 8 minutes does not mean the blow up at the mention of boost. i hate the internet and the stupid people that infect it with half-truths, misinformation and overall idiocy.

 

it's like this, i'm not a big fan of the B20, i know it's potential, i just don't trust it that much, which is exactly why i'm running a B18. i asked for help not criticism. so if u don't like my choice of motor, deal with it. but like i asked earlier, does anyone know of any non-built LS swaps for sale right now?
