I got the same thing in my Z last year... 80 in a 55 on 264 with no traffic. I think I paid 321 with a clean record (no tickets... ever....) and no lawyer.

99% of it depends on the cop an judge in court. A lawyer WILL help though. Almost all judges are ex-lawyers and they like to see you giving a little money out. And in the end, thats what its all about...the money.

if you get judge cockrin, a female judge with short brunette hair and looks strict, youre f-ed. i have been to jail 3 times for driving each with different judges but cockrin was my last judge and she was even on the news about how hard she was on speeders..... i heard that her daughter got killed cause of a drunk driver so she hates bad drivers but she is still a traffic judge. the other two times were old male judges in va beach...... if i get cught again i have 2 wreckless driving, driving under suspended, concealed weapon, 55 in a 35, 64 in a 45, improper driving, tons of exhaust tickets, falure to appear, got caught selling weed when i was 17 and it was dropped since i was good for a year but cockrin still knew about it...... ugh..... so anyway the most youll do is a couple days maybe.

My first offense was wreckless driving/driving with the intent to kill 120 in a 50, and eluding the police(the cop was driving his personal vehicle). And yes I know what i did was stupid as fuck. I was a minor at the time and since it was my first offense, I was off to driving school(clinic) and that was it. I learned an important lesson that day.
