These rules don't exist because we're a$$holes, they exist for safety...

People tend to forget how dangerous it can be to drive on a circuit like VIR. I think its stoopid to let people go out without instruction and see how fast of a lap they can turn.
its hard to get these kids to be interested and maybe they are hoping for spectators and more of a hyperdrive deal at their events like at hyperfest..... i dont know..... but i am trying to get more info.

I'm all for the time attack - i just hope they are smart about it. Because if there are alot of wrecks i doubt that it would last very long. But then again take a look at what happened at langley on wednesday nights, there were people totaling their cars every night the event was held. I'd like to here some more info on the time attack also...
OK here is the deal.... REDLINE is running three events on the east coast this year. Here are the dates and what they are. March31st weekend Mid Ohio = Time Attack, May 13th weekend = open track days Beaver Run, Summit Point Aug 5th weekend = Time Attack Redline provides everything from a beginner to a seasoned veteran. Track time to instruction, we got it covered. For more info on these events check out the expanded info at www.timeattack.com or pm me. I am redline's east coast event coordinator.
