i had a ls turbo pushin 11 psi and was running low 13's...use a gsr tranny with lsd and you'll have a nice setup for not a lot of $$$

 

what kind of car are you talking about that set-up in? Please tell me its not in a crx because thats a VERY bad time for that.

 

man h22s are pretty cheap. b20's with b16 head is a good set up...but for big hp you're gonna have to redo the bottom end, they have real shitty internals...K20's cost 6-7k for a complete swap...you can get a h22 full swap for under 3k(and thats high) if you know where to look. same with the b series(b18s are nice, any of them. also an ls can be converted to GSR if you buy a new head...you can get a lightly used one for 2-500) but my favorite swap is deffinitly the F20b...200hp stock, way lighter than the h22, and fairly reasonable price. just look around on the internet and local shops and really try to get a good price. if you want to go through the trouble...get a f20c(s2K motor, about 2500) and the f20b tranny...its unique and fast...but tough to install.

 

ive been doing some research on a n/a b16... i would say b16a1 w/ stroker kit, i think it makes it 2.1 from 1.6 or something like that, high compression with cams and internals all done up, im curious to see what this would do in my crx when im done

 

it would make it go BOOM!
