impresions on the mazdaspeed 3
no worries.. just really think about it...is a car worth 500 a month to you that you constantly have to pay out every month.
Spend the 6k get some older but just as fast and just pay liability and gas...you can use the extra money for go fast parts and such.

putting 13k down on a car, is ridiculous and stupid.
At most put 6k down and save the rest in your account.
The WRX actually took the MS3 in the 1/4. With less tq and alot less hp.
Mazdas design for the tmic is also ridiculous becuase the ventilation really isn't that great.
It did take it on the course by a little however.
I bought my Legacy instead of the Mazdaspeed 6.
However, the MS3 is extremley nice, and if it came down to a wrx and a ms3. Chances are I would get the mazda.

Not sure where you got your info but according to Car and driver the Speed3 ran a 14.4 with a trap of 99mph with a 0-60 at 5.8 secs
The WRX ran a 14.6 1/4 mile and a flat 6 second 0-60 time.
Also the the speed got a .87g pulled on the skidpad.
Oh and all this info is from the Nov 06 issue... I have other mags laying around with the speed beating a WRX in the 1/4 and I will find them if needed as a reference.
But they are very close cars and it would come down to the driver in a street or non-pro track race.
