thanks mike, finally got the car to the track, joey was there with the lightning running also, he did pretty good also.... but i didnt take the front sway bar off or race with a different tune, i had my street tune and pump gas, also stock heads, intake and suspension! one day way on down the road some of that will change!!

 

Cool good run. That 10.67@123 was on a small 100 shot with a street tune and pump gas also..... I had the timing way retarded also. I think it was like 31 degrees total advance! Considering i mashed teh brakes a good 20 feet out I know the car has a 10.5x the way it sits but I'd rather not beat on it until the fuel system is up to speed...... But considering it's still pretty damn driveable and it's still full interior weighing upwards of 3500 lbs I'm pretty happy. I know with a race tune, more timing and about 100 more hp thru the bottle it should run very close to the 9 second land.... And you're right the auto is where it's at.... My 10.67 was on a 1.55 60 foot and i didn't even really launch it all that hard..... Left on the t-brake at about 3500 and immediately squeezed. If I had left at 5K she woulda got jiggy wit it...

Yeah Mike we can do that..... I'll whack the bikes down and then work on the bird...

 

yeah i need me a c4 with transbrake so i can go 10's easily, but i will do that soon with my 5spd~
