whoever runs VDOT or is in charge of operations..
The thousands upon thousands of 18-wheelers that travel our roads due to marine terminals don't really help out either.
The roads suck, end of story. There's nothing that you or I can do about it.

does anyone have anything good to say about va??
haha and there were no lines on the road so it was a free-for-all going towards 264 every morning. that was fun.

I've been trying to figure out that myself.. the country where my moms from they ONLY did road work at night and it was better for the whole area.. it just makes more sense if you ask me.
true, the roads are beautiful up that way. but, again, the southside roads are much more heavily traveled than the southside area (tourism in the summer, greater population overall).
my car is stock height, but my truck is lifted and the handling is a little loose. so when i hit potholes, i'm all over the road.
you want some shitty driving? I-81 in pennsylvania. it's a fucking nightmare.

The roads are only good because of Jamestown though and the 400th anniverery. Even though it was only used by the thousands of state troopers that came during when the queen did.
264 and 64 is retartedly bad, My car rides at stock height and every freekin expansion joint severely jarrs the entire car. The abuse is reaping havoc on my cv assemblies, and my front suspension (especialy the bushings). When I had my old car (MR2) hitting those things would unsettle the whole car, and more than once it came back down a little crooked. I handled it, but it was dicey when the wheel would try to yank itself out of my hand.
