I think it's almost impossible to find a decent spot for cool enthusiasts to hang and talk cars without ricers and coppers fallowing close behind. It's a shame really, I had no trouble out in San Diego with crews like AWjunkies and SoCaleuro when I was rolling in the STi and S4. Not knocking the scene out here by any means, but from what I've seen it's mediocre as is the talent level!

Damn, is it really as hard as it sounds to get together around here? I try to avoid the stupid ricer mentality as much as possible, but sounds like it's going to be difficult here. Segregation FTW! Bad part is, ricers buy good cars sometimes.
