Excuse me, I expect a beautiful vinyl invitation sent by mail in calligraphy proposing the request for my formal appearance. And if it isnt scented just right, I will be offended.

haha, well i've learned to keep my thoughts to myself lol. but it would be great for the class to grow. i think it's one of the cheaper, half-way fast classes to get into. i do think they may add weight to the miata eventually, but we'll see. the top end at VIR may be it's achilles heel

Although there is technically no rule against it, it is not recommended.

no problem, just thought I'd ask. I'll run on the Kuhmo XS's Should be just fine... Saves me the trouble of hauling them up there and back.

Don't take it the wrong way, he had a big smile on his face when he said it.

As for adding weight, once the car is caged its going to pick up a few lbs. Im about 100lbs heavier then a spec miata as is now. PTE looks like it would be a blast, all i can do now is compare my laptimes. Which doesn't mean anything in a racing situation. If i cage the car, it'll be real hard for me not to do comp school.

LOL yep... low 28's in TT and low 28's while chasing a CRX with a SE-R six inches off each doorhandle are very different things. ;-)

My vote is, of course, DO IT. Those guys are great to run with.

actually in racing, as long as you don't let the moment get to you, you'll end up going faster....especially when you're chasing someone. it's really the same as any sport. competition makes you better. the thing is learning to control that 'pushing it' notion and not going over the edge (well at least not too far, hehe).

so at a full class, it could be 5 SE-Rs, 1 Accord, 2 CRXs, 1 RX7, 1 200SX, 1 Miata, 1 E30, and 1 Miata. wheeeeeeeee!

I'll be there all 3 days. Running the Panoz in the UTCC Friday, then TTA in the Z06 Saturday/Sunday (assuming I can get it done). Dad will be driving the Panoz in HPDE3 Sat/Sun.

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 12:30 AM.
