How good is Abacus

I was reading a article in a mag where someguy had twin superchagers makeing upwards of 1000 HP and he had to detune it to 700 so he drive it on the street. If you know what you are doing you can tune anything up or down.
AGAIN I was only stating what I heard.

Yeah, so they turned the boost down, They didn't "detune" it. There's nothing wrong with turning the boost down a bit.

Yeah it's real hard to switch my Greddy Profec B switch from the high boost setting to low boost setting, it's a BUTTON.
But even the manual boost controllers people usualy keep track of how many turns it takes to get to a certain boost level, that may be alittle complicated.

Yup, but when they backed in on to the dyno they left it in reverse and turned it off. They set the car up and started it again and it looks like it is in first with most cars so they started to drive it, but then realized it was in reverse when everyone started to yell.
If you are not used to driving "euros" then I can understand mistake.

Hey man it was not a big deal... nothing was messed up and I appoligize if I came off like I was pissed about it.
Nothing was messed up, I was just sharing my expierence with abacus.
I would not hesitate to get them to dyno it again.

I have nothing but praise for Abacus. The machine work is excellent, and dyno time is usually readily available. They operate in a professional manner, and are a pleasure to do business with.
For those that have heard about slow work, keep in mind that they do a LOT of import work, and there are usually people that have machine work that needs to be done that have dropped off their stuff before you.
