This is a damn good thread.

I'm also getting a S13 (i know, but there cheap. bite me) and I'm am also looking at the "disco potato" and 350 whp is my goal also. I wasn't sure if that turbo was all hype or not, but it might find it's way in my car.

Of course that wont be for a while. Suspension, wheels, brakes, then SR20. Then, after that 350 whp.

look to sport compact cars project 240. dave colemans car. he uses a GT28RS. more info is in that article.

back in the day i used a GT2510 thats driveability was very comparable to the stock turbo but made 50 more hp. 267@12 psi, 300@15psi.

I think you listed the 25/40 turbo.

the GT25r page 18 in the PDF from www.turbobygarrett.com flows 26lb/min basically a stock SR20 turbo flow potential.

did you get that from cheapturbo?

It will be difficult to hit 350 on the DP. The turbine just doesnt flow enough.

at 53 mm it should flow with the right size WG. ive seen a 60mm turbine flow 544 with a 40mm tial. i am aware that the DP is internal gate, i wonder what making it a larger external gate would do for power capability

you wont find the 2540 in anything i posted. it was an older HKS model that had a 46 trim 71mm compressor with a 53mm turbine. Smallest trim GT40 compressor with biggest trim GT25 turbine.
