That's how I try to be...I mean, I know an automatic, 155hp KA24DE is beast, but I keep it on the down low the best I can..hehe.

Also, Wagz, what's with the dip at 3500 rpms in both curves?

Hey Wagz, I was wondering if you ever considered putting a really good traction control on your Z? RACELOGIC is really big in the BMW community with turboed/supercharged cars. (http://www.racelogic.co.uk/traction.htm) It's not just some factory piece of crap that just pulls fuel and timing. It runs off of the ABS sensors and senses when some wheels are spinning faster then the others. It has an adjustable percentage of slipping that'll be allowed (i.e. 10% slip allows the wheels to just lightly break loose). Supra guys are starting to use it more and more because they put it on 0% slip at the track and floor it. It's sounds weird when it engages (Kinda like a bunch of really quick misfires) but you're still accelerating. Plus you can get a bunch of cool options like lauch control and shit like that. I know you are planning on selling it, but it's just an idea to help get the tires on the pavement.

Ya we have a TTnet member that's been doing racelogic groupbuys for years. From what i hear it really is awesome & i tried to get him to work me a better deal for being a "sponsor" but he actually turned me down saying he had already done a few Z's as sponsors (keep in mind this was about a year ago or so)............i'm thinking he may have regretted that a bit. At anyrate, i just havent bothered with it, but i know its a nice system.

Why do you want to sell it? Have plans for another car or are you just getting out of it all?

just pretty burned out of the scene & tired of having a project car. I honestly accomplished everything i set out to do when starting the project. I won the big shows, i got in mags, i got about 100 more HP than i originally hoped for, i went widebody etc etc. Its just that for me personally i went too far w/ the car, meaning i'm paranoid to take her out and enjoy her. Worried someone is going to hit me or something stupid. Plus the more she sits in my garage the more i'm either erked by the fact that i've put nearly $80k into her or the fact that i always have other things i want to do to her.
So in short, she's become more of a burden than a joy & that is mainly my fault.......so i feel it would be better to let someone else enjoy her!
I dont really plan another project per say, i do however really want to supercharge my 540i6 (taking it to 407+hp) and i just sold my 900RR so i'm thinking of getting a 1000RR. I've also had ideas of doing an s14 type car, but doing it mainly as a fun car & not worry about mags & shows.

That is very respectable. You have accomplised what a lot of us can only dream to do. (at the moment at least) If you want another challenge.. you can always try to take your car back to stock... I bet that would be tougher than building it to the way it is now. lol

lol ya i dont want to start ripping her apart - i honestly believe that w/ the publicity my car has gotten that some1 will want to buy her for exactly how she is (which is the main offer i've had so far). Plus it would take too much time & hassle to break her down, would be tricky to sell my rims, and the widebody would create an issue as well.
