Brandon, it would cost you out the ass for the right tools..
Dont use wood glue, use 100% silicoln. Wood glue doesn't flex and over time it will crack and air will leak. The silicoln will flex when the air hits and will supress any vibrational noise coming from the wood touching other wood. Use 3/4" MDF and 1-1/2" wood screws. DRILL THE HOLES FOR THE SCREWS FIRST! If not, the wood can crack and screw up what you were going for. Do this equation to figure out the volume of your box. HeightxWidthxDepth/1728. The dimensions you plug in should be from the inside of the box, so don't measure on the outside of the MDF.

This has been speaker box 101 from Choodle.

Garan Lowes doesn't have the MDF it's Home Depot....

Yes Choodle I already knew that. I use wood glue to hold it then seal it with silicone. It works believe me. Screws? I use a nail gun. Now that takes practice LOL. Don't do it right then through the MDF it goes.

whatever, one in the same..

screws are far better than nails lol.. even though you used nails on mine..

I also used silicone on the inside.. so wood glue + screws + silicone should do it hehe
