with all the car jacking that happens in nova, this would be good to have
I was wondering has anyone actually bought the watch and put it in their car does it work as easy as they say it does on the demo. Im thinkin about buying one myself just wanted to know what others thought about it
one important thing you've all over looked.
what happens when your car is in a warehouse/garage chop house.....hows your gps going to get a satalite link from inside??
i'm pretty sure you need at the VERY least three satalites to determine location.
this is the reason lojack is radio signals, it will go through garages/tunnels and shit.
Its 48 dollars for a reason. -- just a thought.

Sounds like a rip off to me, personally. My phone has some GPS crap in it that shows my location in longitute and lattitude but I haven't been able to get it to work. Never has been able to locate a satalite.
The interactive demo the site has probably misrepresents a lot of ways the service works. For example, I highly doubt it would take less than a couple of minutes to locate where the car is. Second, the picture that shows up is from a couple of years ago most likely. I checked my house out and it showed a picture where there was construction of a neighborhood right behind mine that happened a couple of years ago. It still showed the dirt and everything. Now of course it's a complete development of houses.
It's not like you are going to see a picture of your car when you search for it on GPS. You might even use it and it shows a picture of woods or a field that is now a road your car is travelling on. And like someone mentioned... if it's inside a chop shop or something the signal is going to be even worse and harder to get. By the time you go to where the GPS said your car was, it has probably gone somewhere else.
Cool idea, I just don't think it can live up the hype everyone gets when they hear something has "GPS tracking."
