Im not saying its a bad ecu, Im just saying that I know of nobody in the area that has experience with tuning on a twin turbo rotary engine. I would rather spend a couple hundred of bucks more and insure that my engine doesnt blow.

 

well, it was designed originally for a 94 probe 4 banger(same engine as the 93-97 probe, mx6 and 626 4 bangers) and its worked great. since then, i think they released a new version that works on almost all cars...

since it was designed for a FS Series engine originally, PBC might know how to tune it since they do Mazdas specifically, right?

 

yeah, but neither they nor RP Performance has a dyno. My plan is to get the AEM unit and have Ray at Peter Farrell tune the car.

Jeff and Marc are cool cats....Dan (the black S14.5) told me that he (Jeff)just lost a member of his family and is overseas right now. Hopefully his family is doing well though.
