Your right... Yamaha is not Ducati... its better!!!
You realize that it was the riders and teams right? because the other ones sucked. You are good marketing at work, buying what did well for racers. Incase you did not see it Ducati and not yamaha won the manufacturing cup for Ducati just throwing that out there. And rossi loss to both a honda and a ducati in previous years et cetera. Now stop riding yamahas dick and go out and make a decision for yourself based upon your own needs.

P. S. They're saying Spies R1 may be the hardest bike to ride in the WSBK paddock. haha
and how long did suzuki dominate with spies or maldin riding for them? Remember its the rider that makes the bike fast.....No one thought the yamaha would even be competitive this season but spies made the bike do things it should not.

Rider is always the final touch.

Because Spies is a motorcycle GOD which Rossi, motorcycle prophet, has been speaking about for years
(Remember Rossi won on Honda before going to Yam)

who cares what whose MotoGP or WSBK machine felt like? I don't ride that shit on the road, nor will I ever be able to afford one. The only company that produces a bike even close to AMA or WSBK rules is Ducati with the 1098R and 1198R most other companies do not, I know a few of the other boutique manufactures also offer highly built machines but its not something they everyday man can afford, the ducatis for comparison are somewhere in the ball park of 40k

wsbk is production based. the 1098R is actually VERY close to the bike that Haga rode.
with enough money, you and i could build a replica of a WSBK, the only limiting factor is the top notch electronics that may not be sold to "john public"

Hmm I thought they had an r version of the 1198 now, and cash talks people around here have bought them for about 38k

Excuse me I just went and did some research, the 1098r and 1198r are the same bike, meaning the r version is the bored to 1198, so the 1198 and 1098s's are different.

a quote

This rumor might not surprise anyone, but Ducati is alleged to be bumping the 1098R out of the line-up for 2010, finally calling the Superbike homologation by its 1198cc capacity, and erasing any reference to the 1098 line.

To help distance the 1198R from the 1098R, and to help abate any pressure that might be felt by the BMW S1000RR and Aprilia RSV4, a power boost is expected as well in 2010. The 1098R is rated at 180hp, and the 1198R is expected to make 190hp at 10,000 RPM.

more random proof if you need it.
