Seriously. Before I started making my own mistakes and having to go to court for myself, I used to go when my friends would do stupid things and I'd sit there in court with them. You really do learn a lot about what does and does not fly in court. Unfortunately, all the sitting in court I've done isn't going to help me at all when it's time to step into the courtroom for my next one!

 

When is your Court Date? If you can get the Report from your insurance co and the police that will show "cause". You can use that to your defence if the reports show that it was the Vehicles fault you can and will get off.. If the Report shows that it was your fault but you were going the speed limit and driving proper it should be droped to Failure to maintain... If you cant get the reports before your date Ask for a Continuance becuse your wating for the Accident reports but if you do that your for the most part pleding not guilty .. I say Talk to a Lawer a consultaion is "kind of" Cheap and they will let you know your options... But only do all that if you feel 100% that you did nothing wrong it was just plan bad luck.. If thats not the case go in and Pled Guilty becuse it is your First you may get it reduced or droped ..

 

I have gotten off a wreckless ticket before with the "my tire blew out" story.

I took some pictures of the tire (which really was flat, after the accident, but none the less) and put a metal object in the hole on the tire... took some more pics, judge said dismissed, end of story, no fine, no court costs. Goodluck.

 

See? It's worth it.

i wish i could of gotten out of my wreckless driving ticket like that. I was caught doing e-brake slides in a kroger parking lot. This was around 2-3 years ago when i had my CRX though. Sucks, i'm still paying for that stupid shit!

lmfao...i did that and got pulled over in cave spring corners kroger parking lot...let me go with a warning...but got pulled over 5 minutes later by differant cop and got another exhaust warning in my sunfire...so i gave my sunfire steroids and its a trans am now haha

 

Man dex, that was a hell of a day. That would be the second rx7 I have been in that spun out and hit a bunch of trees so I know how you feel. The most important thing is that we got out alive. My mom said she is going to try and find that pedestrian that got hit so we can personally thank him for risking his life to make sure we were ok.
