Why has everyone seemed to look entirely around the DSM. 2.0l, AWD, parts readily available and damn easy and cheap to make fast.

I agree with the fox body Crustang, get yourself an '89 Notchback, I've always been a fan of the 5.0
I have a almost flawless 87 conquest tsi. Not a drop of rust AT ALL!!!!!! There out there you just need to look!! got mine for a good price, even though it needed motor work.

Get a conquest shell, throw in a 4g63 with a T56 tranny. RWD 4g63s are my new passion.

would suggest a mk3 supra turbo find on for under 1g with a bhg. Take another grand do a stock rebuild good for 500hp just make sure to use a metal headgasket and arp studs .Thats leaves you with 3 grand to put a bigger turbo, coilovers and replacement parts pretty much what ever floats your boat. Not to many people are saving these cars so you won't see many nice ones around

Do what most people do. Get yourself a honda. They're easy to work on, cheap to maintain, good on gas, and im sure most people here would be happy to help you with anything.
