Personally i dont think it looks that great anyways. Just my opinion.
If you use Nite Shades then the brightness is not effected. Now those who use limo tint do actually make them dimmer.

Mine are lightly tinted on my black car. They are just as bright at night and the day as they were before anything was done.

You want to complain about tail light brightness, how about we all take a gander at GTI's tails. Those fuckers are dim as shit and have almost no light to even show any form of a car.

LOL, whoops, didn't mean to edit out that much...wasn't paying attention (I had just gotten in from working on my car (yes, in the dark, yes with no heat source) for 4 hours.

On the gun laws - other than the restaurant ccw ban I don't see any problems with them. Well, other than the church ban.

The restaurant CCW ban is actually being somewhat fixed right now. The law which has passed the Senate so far allows you to CCW ONLY if you notify the ABC manager on duty.

It is a pain in the ass, but a step in the right direction. You can thank all the VCDL people for doing this.

You were telling a 10 year licensed state inspector who has a track record of being very knowledgeable on the issue and in automotive repairs that he was not too bright what is and isn't required for the VA SI. Yet you have no fucking idea of what you were talking about, nor are you an inspector, let alone even know the difference.

I have never seen nor heard of there being a difference between the Motor code and the SI code. Hell, I can't even find a difference while searching on the web.
Thanks for proving the above.

The more we try to figure out the rules, the less makes sense. ALOT of b/s

This is why my dad in MD still owns the car I drive even though I've spent more on it than it's worth. Going 80 in a 60 is a Class 1 Misdemeanor? Who came up with that?

They have saved me many times especially in the fog they are great. But to each his own.
A 12k bulb is not bright and is actually dimmer than a standard 4.3K bulb, even worse the light spectrum is completely wrong for night driving which makes it a danger. They need to ban 8k-12K bulbs because they are purely appearance lighting and are not for improving safety for night time operation. The real nuisance is HID's in standard reflectors and or fiting HID bulbs into fog assemblies. Those both should be automatic failures at SI.
