I love a cummins motor but the dodge part itself sucsk...as far as a company and the rest of the truck is concerned...hell my buddy with a 07 3500 jokes his dodge and says the only good part is his cummins 5.9 (yes, he was in before the 6.7). Trans and electrical issues haunt all forms of Mopar products.

I'd settled and bought a Ford personally...all 3 have downsides...

I'm just a 7.3L with a 6-spd
Big reason for the 7.3L was veggie oil use and its cummins like reliability...that and once you hit about 400-450whp (before it gets hard and expensive to make power) you are sitting around 1000-1100 lb-ft normally.

I do love the mpg of the cummins though. Might actually have to do a swap when the 7.3L dies in a few hunder thousand more miles.

Next, I'll probably do the Banks Six Gun tuner with PDA, exhaust, and intake. Not sure about the suspension, but looking at either Icon 7" or Rize 6 or 8 inch with 22" Ion Terminators or 22" KMC Monsters with 37" Toyos or Kumho KL71's. Again, more plans than money, hehehe.

SCT on a 6.0 hands down.

I would stay away from banks, you can get much more for you money other places. The tunes banks use are very generic. Look into an SCT x3 for a tuner with gauges. As for intake and exhaust just look around. I got my 5 inch turbo back from shop diesel shipped for around 300 bucks. Fit perfect and went on with no problem. extreme diesel has pretty good prices as well, and laguna speed. when you get ready to look into a lift PM me, I can give you some numbers to get a good deal. Egr delete is a good idea. As for headstuds, unless your running a nasty tune you will be ok. But if they do pop, get it done. Ford with put the aftermarket ones in.

I've heard Jody @ DPTuner is a good bet for custom tunes on a SuperDuty. I personally like Bill at PHP, but thats for my OBS...
