The class D is much more efficient and and should definitely run cooler for the same power output, so there must have either been something wrong with the amp or the power output wasn't the same, or the sub was the wrong impedance for the amp..

It is a custom install... they aren't just laying here or there.
False floor, amp rack that is under the false floor...
falsefloor opens up to show the twoamps, crossovers etc...

powerbass were my most sold items when i managed a shop on azalea garden rd. i dont have access to them anymore tho

im running 2 ASA1500's which is 3000 rms for the 2 and only makes my lights dim a little more than my old power acoustik 3000 watt which was 1700 rms. i recommend all powerbass amps, very very efficient

i did a powerbass amp and component setup in my boys teggy and it was crazy loud man, i went with jbl subs tho...are u sure the 1500 is 3000 rms? i think its 1500rms and 3000 peak, actually im positive thats what it is
