jackson ward isnt the worst neighborhood to live in(depending on what street you live on) but there are no bars worth going to or places to really hang out.
Forest Hill has some small spots here and there like Rock Falls Tavern. Kind of a shithole but cool people and cheap beers.
If you live over there youre better off just hitting the Nickel Bridge and hanging out in the fan.
OP, hit me up if youre seriously looking for a place. My house is two blocks from sticky rice and I will have an empty room here shortly.
