I need to find the thread with that guy Jay from florida. He was making 350+ at 17psi if I remember right with a GT25R and a stock manifold modified for an external gate.
I want a GT30R. My thought was to get a precision turbo at first, since they are all 5 bolt exhaust housings. Saves me from having a downpipe made for now. Dunno?
get the GT30r if you have the money. you will love the sound with the ported compressor housing, very loud semi truck like. also its a true ballbearing cc. will spin minutes after shut down. turbines are smaller than T3 series, but better designed to flow air. All the precision turbos use T3 or T4 turbines mated to current GT compressors.
I'll probably get the GT30R. Money isn't the issue, time is. I've had to come to accept that the car won't be done until late summer at best. I want to have it done in time to trailer it to vegas.
Off of crappy KA's and back on SR's. Search Freshalloy for disco potato and GT25R. You'll get some good info and first hand experience. I remember the heated discussions last year.
