If you need a run, I might can set you up with some guys from northern NC. Just let me know ahead of time, and I'm sure they won't just run for fun unless it is at the track. So you'll need to bring some dough.

I could tell these guys the numbers and they'd still throw down. 650 awhp is ridiculous, but these days, that is still half of what you could see from a car that still could be on the street.

Even with suspension and tire I spin 2nd gear from a roll, on radials all it does is hit the rev limiter. Traction will be fixed soon though
650 awhp is tough of the street. However, not unbeatable even by RWD cars. I know a RX-7 and a T/A that would race him from a dig, and a Supra from a roll. If he's willing to run them

I've already posted a video on here of my FC taking down a 750 whp Evo from a dig on the street. The problem is the advantage of an automatic over the DSM's manual. Doesn't matter how fast you shift... Those autos are faster.

Oh come on now... That wasn't your thought when you wanted to race me. Just do it!

He might barely hang with a stock busa, ZX, or GSXR. He needs to start there... Turbo and nitrous liter bikes are not in his league. I hope no one thinks they are... The fastest street car in America (So far, hasn't lost) makes 1400rwhp and pulls decent on a 300 whp Busa, which is just a turbo at like 10 PSI...

As I said before, I think people generally underestimate big bikes... It really does take a lot of power to take down something on that level.

As for the turbo'd Busa, if you're talking about the one I think you are, it's an extremely small turbo and at low boost (6-8psi, IIRC). There are several 300+ whp Hayabusa's locally, and in the surrounding area.

Larry run's 5.9-6.0 in the 1/8th naturally aspirated on a 1000cc bike.. and that's with a relatively poor 60ft with room for a lot of improvement. He's still kind of scared to really give it all it has. Then there's always the turbo 1300 that runs 5.3's consistently. These are not necessarily good examples, but I think they deserve a little more credit! lol

any takers?? i need to win some money back after that trip. i would love to see what it would do aginst a busa or 1000.
If you are serious, let me know. I have a friend with a RWD V8 truck (street legal, but just barely) who would gladly run you. Just a little over 900 at the wheels. Last time I talked to him he said he would run anyone who wanted to run, but wouldn't bring his truck out for less than $5000.

From what I remember, he ran low 6's at NB with drag radials and no nitrous. The 900 hp is with nitrous I believe. I may be wrong about those numbers, though. It's been a little over a year ago...

These bikes are underestimated because people see videos on the net of cars beating bikes. However, they mainly get beat at high speeds. Bikes, from 0-130 or so (Liter or less) are still fast as hell. Once they get over 130 is were they fall back like they hit a wall. Still, turbo busa's and bigger bikes don't hit that wall to 160 or so. Thats were these Vipers and Supras pull these bikes. Some earlier, but not below 100. Once you get at the horsepower mark to beat these bikes, under 100 your traction is non-existant, at least on the street.

All these numbers make me feel slow.

Part 1

Part 2
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...arch&plindex=4

Here are two nice video comparing different bikes/mods + a S/Cd viper (883whp)

2nd video about 4-5 minutes into it - all i can say is holy shit...

This video shows that bikes are no joke...

Moral of the story,
Dont race any modded bigger bore bikes.

Those are barely even really modded, and stock wheelbase. Good race though. It would be crazy to have 3 mile long straight stretches like that HERE!

Yeah,
But there would also be allot more dead people as a result of races, and many more people arrested....so for the idiot rice burner fuckers around here, it's saved their life not having something like that around here.

In NewBurn, NC there is a 13 mile straight stretch. Its where my dad grew up, it was THE drag place of NC, I think its the longest straight on the east coast - or it is at least the longest in NC.

Ive seen it, its stupid straight and long. It runs along an old railroad track, out in the middle of the country, lined by cornfields, its sweet!
