this sounds like a good idea for you guys that talk shit on here but imports and domestics are so different its really hard to put them in a class. imports are top end domestics low end so there has to be a equal meeting.lol but what do i know going straight is cool but so is turning left and right so if i cant get you on the top end i will catch you in the corners that is when i put my shit box back together..........just my 2 cents

Does my car LOOK too much like a racecar for this race? I don't want to show up and get booted for that!

FYI... It got driven 7k miles between March and November this year (down for a TH400 last winter and down for a rear this winter) to work, church, dinner, etc. (even in the rain occasionally)....

Most of the time while I'm out, i can't run because I've got my wife and 10 month old in the car with me.... Or it's my wife behind the wheel....

but whatever.... I'll check back when the date gets closer and see what this has turned into... maybe I'll still run, but it's looking pretty bleak right about now....
This is the truth!

believe me, i REALLY appreciate what you are trying to do here Mike.
-if the race gets off the ground at all with the tight and cloudy format I'm pretty fearful of a low low turnout.
Ive been IN races with low turnouts from stuff like this, and also been excluded. both not super fun.

It may change how much your actual company backs the event but I think to get people to participate and also importantly to watch ( i do better with an audience ), something here will have to give.

I mean, Fatboyee tried to do this with pretty wide open rules and it was not a big showing (sorry bro).

thats why i'm sayin lets have the race, not worry about who has what.

we can all pit in a group together ( i think this is important ) and just go race. people will see how all of the cars are built vs. how they perform; i think in a nutshell that is the idea.

wherever we go, whatever we do... I want to bet $50 per pass me vs. anyone else that drives there. ie drive from wherever you live, to wherever we race. that sounds exciting!

Agreed... Just get a list of people who agree to the "premise" of a race like this together and run the cars.... If the rules get too picky you will inevitably run into drama
