Hardwire your Radar Detector with a remote switch. Having the unit in the grill of your car. When ever you go out of state of course.

Haha nice. Weather proofing might be an issue, if you buy a detector that is supposed to be mounted inside the car. But, if you are a baller and can afford the remote mounted setup then drop 600-1000 on that setup.

Take a look at this too..

V1 is the only way to go. and they ship from valentine one directly. No need to depend on ebay. I bought mine from valentineone.com and it was here 4 days later.

Does anyone know if VA state troopers (or anyone else in this area) use laser? A friend of mine just bought a laser blinder.

This isn't where he bought it but it has info.

I got a friend with a bel sti driver that wants to go up against a v1 in a few real world situations. Anyone know any LEOs or people with radar guns?

I usually wait for the detector to go off and then rev on someone and try to get them to race me. Then watch them speed off and get nailed.

Who ever said STi its like 450 bucks new.... Over a nice like 60-80 dollar cobra that works fine + has 360 degrees like most new-age radar's and some other handly functions like light dimming, and the sound gets quiter the closer you get. I mean isnt a V1 even around 200 new? Personaly, all I want in a radar is long range... haha

you can get the Bel Sti Driver for 450

51 bucks more = total domination

The V1 also comes with less accessories.
