That SHOULD give me a 9.5 - 9.7 sec pass... Others I know of that have signed up have run those kind of times on pump gas with meth... It should actually be pretty competitive.
I agree, It should be in the mid 9s if no one breaks!

Just keep in mind this is a local event. This does not apply for the whole "import vsv. domestic" debate. We are in an area where domestic cars are faster.

Another thing i have to find out is how much this will cost. I dont think its going to be to hatefull with the amount of people that should show up. I want everyone to know up front i will not make anything off of this. If at the end of the day i end up with more money then what the track rental cost, I will put it into the winners pocket of class number 2. Or some kind of prizes for second and third place. When i hear back from the track on the cost i will edit the first post with the cost. Thanks again!

You really need to look at the import v. domestic results from last year... Not a "local" race by any means...

NO. If one car has slicks, EVERYONE gets slicks.

The origin of this was the honda guys saying they can keep up in a fair race. Making seperate rules for imports vs domestics or FWD vs AWD vs RWD etc is going down the WRONG path. Just shows how scared some of you are of a fair race. winning with a handicap proves NOTHING, and the argument will continue forever.

I also heard the excuse "well we'd be running from a roll on the street". Rolls are for dinner, they are not racing. If that is the case you're probably a pussy that would never show up to a dig race regardless of the rules or circumstance.

Edit: just saw the tire rules posted a few pages ago and realized the debate is over.. oh well, I'll leave my shit talk here for amusement anyways
