Not to mention, I had originally been told it came with a lifetime free replacement warranty through either them or Honda, that was only deemed invalid if used with an aftermarket ignition system such as MSD.

As far as waiting too long to pin point the problem... the problem didn't occur until 9 months later, however, there is absolutely no reason why a brand new distributor should have gone bad in that time, except for the fact that they improperly installed it.
I believe you and I'm glad you're sharing your story because other people need to know who they're dealing with. Unfortunately, you can't be 100% sure the dizzy wasn't installed correctly and the bottom bolt didn't back out over time. Right? If you have all the receipts, you *should* be able to use the warranty. Just go through the original manufacturer, not Jason Hunt's shop.

What i can gather from reading, Is you didnt do your own homework, let the shop do repairs, then let it sit forever cause you dont know what your doing or what is wrong and now just sitting on the internet complaining about it. Ive had nothing but good experiance with Ultimate. It sounds like your in over your head with that car.
