Ultimate Motorsports in Dulles
In normal circumstances this is true. However this was supposedly a brand new OEM Bosch distributor from Honda (according to Mr. Hunt he had a hookup with the parts guy and was able to get ahold of it after hours), which isn't a "racing" part. Not to mention, I had originally been told it came with a lifetime free replacement warranty through either them or Honda, that was only deemed invalid if used with an aftermarket ignition system such as MSD.
As far as waiting too long to pin point the problem... the problem didn't occur until 9 months later, however, there is absolutely no reason why a brand new distributor should have gone bad in that time, except for the fact that they improperly installed it.

What i can gather from reading, Is you didnt do your own homework, let the shop do repairs, then let it sit forever cause you dont know what your doing or what is wrong and now just sitting on the internet complaining about it. Ive had nothing but good experiance with Ultimate. It sounds like your in over your head with that car.
Everyone I know that has gone to jason has had nothing but good things to say and all have been satisfied with the tunes they have recived. When my car is done thats where im going b/c i havent seen anyone have a problem with their tunes unlike other shops in this area....
