The Rx-7 is going to be insanely loud. Chances of ticket?
Dude. I seriously stopped giving a fuck recently.
Having a headache related to rotaries does that. All I care about right now is getting my car to run well. I am getting there.
Just be ready sometime this fall to give me run again. If you get me again (depending on what you beat me with though), I'm just gonna probably stop trying to race with a rotary and get a S2K in a few years.

I said my car was all around faster not more dependable. And yes even having lost a little bit of value (even though its a 99 and Iam not worried about how much I can sell it for because I will run it until the motor blows) it will out last that porsche.
Well back to the original topic of this post: my RX-7.
I swear my car has a freaking disease. Something keeps breaking before I can make good amounts of progress.
In the process of getting her to run well today, I noticed a leak from my primary fuel rail. I come to find out that my o-ring seating have cracked and caused fuel to leak all over the intake manifold and exhaust manifold (replacing them tomorrow). Also had a leak coming from my pulsation dampener (had to tighten it with a new copper crush washer to fix it).
Then I kick myself for missing a vacuum line that originally ran to the brake booster. No wonder she would start shutting off on me and have a hard time starting. I'll be plugging and capping that large vacuum nipple because my brake booster is connected now to a better location on the intake manifold.
All in all, I am solving problems as I go along. I just wonder how much more stuff I'll be finding is wrong.
I am curious about my turbo. When I first started the car, I noticed an oil leak from rims of the exhaust housing, but I havn't seen it leak in awhile now. I am wondering if it will come back...
Fuck a rotary.
EDITED DAYS LATER: Just got her timing perfect now. She starts up everytime without hassle. Gotta fine tune the A/F ratio now and give her some runs down the street.

You are an idiot. If your car isnt more dependable then how is it better than a porsche all around?
jesus christ, you change your mind more than monkeys pick their butt.
