Beacause you guys are trolls. Everyone kept telling me not to bother with you guys, because VADriven is filled with a bunch of trolls. Even people that post on this website tell me that VADriven is full of trolls. In fact, the only one that thinks that you are NOT tools are you guys.

I'll probably get called a faggot or something, but being rude right away when someone comes on here might scare away someone with very good connections and years of knowledge that could be valuable for people. With that being said, since there are soo many knowledgeable people on here, are there any people familiar with S30 style Datsuns and/or Megasquirt? And yes we already established Megasquirt is a dirty/funny sounding name.

Actually, let me clarify: We have a pretty large and knowledgeable group of people on the site, and inferring that we're "full of trolls" is laughable. The trolls (the good ones), in most cases, do their job by running the annoying faggots off the site, so we don't have a 24/7 hug-fest where everyone is nice to eachother (like other boards, some of which you frequent). I'd gladly take this site over any other because people speak their mind, and don't get banned for it.

But that still doesn't change the perspective of what the non-VADriven world sees this website as. The people that I know personally that drive high horsepower cars hate this site, save one. In fact, the people that I know personally that have accounts on this website brag when they break the 300hp mark. Self-proclaimed kings. Now that's not to say there AREN'T people here that don't know their business, I just don't know any personally.
Control on other sites are there to make sure the sponsors are happy. Sponsors pay the bills.

So what you're saying is: more horsepower = more popularity = super cool guys -- got it. I dunno where your argument about horsepower is coming from (or where it's going, for that matter), but I can assure you there are some veterens on the site that run much more than 300hp (which is basically the norm for production cars now-a-days, and therefore, not impressive).
In regards to sponsors, that's where we differ. Not only do sponsors help keep the site going, the patrons do as well (realistically, everyone keeps the site going). So we do what we can to keep the masses happy, not the kids that come in making threads screaming for acceptance among strangers on a 'board of trolls'. I think we're ahead of the curve in that we don't give a shit about what other sites think about us. If we're that terrible of a site, and we're all jerks, and noone likes us, and we're just not nice people: why are you still here? Cause yous trollin'.
I'd be more than happy to continue this convo, but would prefer to do it elsewhere as not to derail the thread any further.
It's rare that people are rude right off the back, without prior provocation. Of course there are idiots that do it just because they think it's 'funny', it's bound to happen. In this case, it seemed you got some flame for saying steelers suck. Which is true, so I don't understand why you got harped on
