isn't that b/c there aren't enough serious ppl around here to be big dogs? it's hard to find a dedicated racer.

 

Hell its hard to find a dedicated anything these days.......I'm a dedicated-uneducated cant tell you what the part is called but can tell you what it does after i point and say that thing, kind of dedicated mechanic.........lol I dont really wanna race I just want to build cars for other pplz to race, racing (Drag)=10%driver 90%mechanic ,,,,Racing (AutoX)=60%driver 40%mechanic.......Racing (Road)=40%driver 60%mechanic.....Racing (Endurance)=50%driver 50%mechanic..........But in short it also means 100% sponsors...lol

 

a lot of ppl are gonna disagree on those %'s obvisously, but as far as autox, most would say it's 90% driver, 10% car. to prove it, my 130hp accord beats, civic si's, type r's, mustang's, wrx's, hell, even vette's. as for the rest of them, i don't have enough experience in them to tell ya.

 

You know what i mean none of that was fact...lol....Just trying to get my point across....

 

I'm not talking shit about thoes cars, i'm just saying that as far as i see the ION is not a dedicated sports sedan chassis. For all purposes none of the cars mentioned (sho included) are sports sedans. Everyone tells me that this saturn engine is the hot shit. but no one can tell me how they put out so much power. twin cam is great but not 300 hp great. Oh if it pulls on me and revs my ears off, smokes me in the quarter, more power to them. But i haven't seen it yet.

I told you I got a line on another S12 Chassis, Ima drop the SR in it and Drop the VG back in mine, You can buy it from me and race it or you can just race it and I'll kinda sponsor you (U using my car is me sponsoring you.....) you can be my team mate once i get the VG runnin at VIR also thought about buying an S14a for my quick daily .........Get up with me we'll see what we can do...I'm serious too I know you can drive and I know i can build your driving skills will compliment my build.....And that my freinds is where the import scene is going for most of us.....Were growing up and taking it to the track with hopes and dreams to be shattered......

i haven't had much experience racing w/ the rear, only gran turismo, lol. just make sure you put some brakes on that thing, cuz when i'm on the track, my fear level is nil.

 

as long as i get to look at import models i could care less where it goes. =] i enjoy modifying my CAR. regardless what it is.
