Q35, V35? Never heard of those models..
The VQ35DE is an award winning motor for every year its been out. It comes in both FWD and RWD configurations. It is not a slouch by any means even in NA form.

The new model everyone is waiting for is the "GTR", I only saw one other person mention it. The platform is still built on the G35/350Z platforms last I heard.

Edit- the Skyline name will not be associated with the GTR either.

V35 is the JDM tight version of the G35. Its the Skyline Coupe that I had pictured before.

We got more. we had the R32, 2.0t, 2.5t, or 2.6 twin turbo.
Sam for the R33,
R34 only came with twin turbo option.

in Japan, it's a Skyline GT350... May not be up to the same performance specs of the previous Skyline generations, but it is a Skyline none-the-less...

All over Europe its the Nissan 350Z. Nissan have named it that in Japan to try to attract the previous Skyline owners looking for the newest model. But in comparison, they are totally different cars.

Skyline - 4wd
350Z - 2wd
Skyline - 2.6 twin turbo
350Z - 3.5 V6
Skyline - 4 decent seats
350Z - 2 seater

I've got Jap videos of them testing cars in standard format. Included a Honda S2000, BMW M3, Porkie Boxster, R33 Skyline, 350Z.

Now by the end of the race, the skyline was long gone, and i do mean, it just left everything. The 350Z came 2nd, but was being caught up by the M3 and S2000 at quite a pace! Boxster was no-where.

The engines different, shell is different, floorplan is different, different engin, different suspension, different wheels driving and interior is much smaller.

It is a completly different car. Its been designed to carry on the traditional "Z" cars, such as Nissan 300 etc. Its nothing to do with the skyline brand. Nissan are already testing the latest "Skyline".

So let me get this straight. It's sold as a "Nissan Skyline", but it's not a Skyline? Ok, cool.

Shut up. That's what the Skyline has been since '01. No matter what your 'opinion' may be, it says fucking Skyline on the fucking badges.
