Personally i gots the weak ass F22 NON VTEC, and i have run against the F22 Vtec and i mean the way most people see it is. "i have Vtec so i am better and faster...." No, your car puts out more HP at the top, but you think its all your car, shift like my grandmother, and i wooped your ass. haveing a Vtec is jsut a really kool sticker you can put on your car. so when someone smacks you in the face, you can say.... "the Vtec didn't kick in" . well at least thats how i have experienced it.

ok we all know vtecs arent turbos but ur sayin stock vs stock you beat a vtec, i mean it will give them a slight edge, i mean a vtec isnt gonna let you pull 3 carlengths on him or anything like that, but is indeed better

Well, the b20 motor that was in the car is now taking up space in my garage and one of my GSR motors is back in the car. Enough info?

But the engine was designed in 1985. a bit before Vtec was on the block.

Go yamaha!
yep, and i believe it went into Toyota's line-up before the Taurus (in a slightly different form) hence T-VIS on 4AG-E's
