Got a ticket! Laws on Exhaust in Northern VA?
Well, basically here's what the cops told me. (Talk to a few of em, lol).
It has to be shaped simliar to the OEM exhaust, it has to retain the originial look of the OEM stock, and taht's about it. Now, if you're exhaust is too loud and you're hitting high decibles or whatever, then you're risking "disturbing the peace" and some other section blah blah law. Basically, don't put fricken' 6" ricey mufflers on it. Most of the time they're ugly too, but besides the fact. You don't see american cars get pulled over because we don't usually change the tips.
