KA vs SR thread i wrote a while back
Alright dude, since you have some sorta malfunction:
I stated that the VG30DETT was the strongest Nissan motor (meaning materials; build; power it can withstand on stock block). I challenged the other Nissan motors, specifically the RB26DETT, to stand up to the VG30DETT's capability of ~650HP.
- "drifter" posted evidence that the RB26 was equally as strong, amidst all the bullshit you were throwing at me. After I admitted defeat and after some more of your BS, you finally posted something to support the same claim.
Beforehand, you went off on all different angles, bringing up subjects that nobody ever argued, and stats for cars that were irrelevant to the argument. You also threw out all kinds of opinionated statements with no examples.
You said that "top jspec tuners swap SR20's into Z32's because it has more potential than the VG30".
- Who? Where? If they are "top tuners" it should not be difficult to provide examples.
You keep saying that the RB26 puts down more HP completely stock than the VG30.
- You still have not proved that. Your buddy "eng" posted that the R33 makes 190whp, which is much LESS than the Z motor makes. (By the way "eng", I hope my argument with your girlfriend here isn't the reason you started locking threads in the NoVA forum and why my thread was deleted. That is a cowardly way of using your "moderator powers". I'd hate to lose respect for you the way I lost the little respect I had for Heat. If I am wrong, I apologize).
You said "alot of family sedans are making close to the same HP out of smaller V6's than the 350Z".
- I asked to see some examples of some family cars that make 287HP. You gave back none.
You constantly go back to "there are more high HP Skylines than Z32's".
- Well even though that fact has NOTHING to do with the argument at hand, there very well SHOULD be more. The Skyline was mass produced at a much greater scale than the Z32; they are very very common overseas and as you know came in several different options and trim levels. Not to mention the price difference. The Z was marketed toward a specialized buyer, particularly ones with a little extra money. The Skylines came in all different shapes and price ranges, as so it was much cheaper and more common than the Z. If you see more Z's than Skylines overseas, then something is very wrong. As far as the Skyline being more popular, and/or easier to extract more power from, and/or easier to swap the motor into other cars, no argument there.
I really don't see what else there is to argue; but if you're just gonna keep coming back with shit to confuse the original argument, then fine. I DO give up.
The VG30DETT is pure shit. I might as well swap a B16 into my Z. All of Heat's listed 1000HP Skylines are using unmodified stock blocks.
Heat is the grandmaster of all. I am nothing.
If you need the last word or want to twist this around any further, post whatever you want. I am not posting on this thread ANYMORE.

Seriously, I asked you a bunch of times what exactly you were claiming.
You said "the mother of all nissan motors"
I said in response to that, "that can be taken to mean a number of different things" and then asked you to tell me specifically WHAT you were claiming it did.
I did not see an answer, so I tried to cover all the angles.
Most hp stock, most hp on stock block, most hp modified block.
So let me explain all of them again.
Most hp stock - the z puts down a paltry what, 250 or something you said? Surely you can recognize that's not very much. The gtr is said to be in the region of 300-330 crank. To be completely honest, I looked for about 10 minutes and could only find one readign for a stock skyline gtr dynoed in australia. It made about 280awhp but there was no dyno graph for it, only the number from a list of cars. I did not see this as sufficient, I wanted a complete dyno chart but I was in a rush so I left it for the time being.
Next, stock block most power. 749awhp from turbo XS in the united states. I found that example in less than a minute and didn't bother to look anymore on that subject.
Most power modified - well, just gave out a bunch of skylines making over 1000hp. I thought it should be enough to make you see that there are more high hp rb26s than there are vg30s.
So, in conclusion, the reason for those different tangents is because I couldn't get a straight answer out of you for exactly what you meant by "mother of all nissan engines".
To me that means all of the above, and the rb26 is it.

That motor is capable of making unbelievable power, but is not the strongest in stock form. Not trying to downplay it at all, but it is not superior to the VG30DET.

Do you have proof or is that your opinion? All of my readings have concluded that high power can be extracted from that engine after it is built and tuned. The VG30DET has proven to handle 600+ HP without any internal modification.

Again, I wasn't talking about the car, just the motor. My statements were based on proven fact. If you can't argue with the same, then there's really no point.

And please note, I never said that the VG30 was better for swapping into the lighter, more nimble Nissan chassis'. Only that it is the stronger motor in the family.

Aiight dude, all I said from the start and all I've been trying to say is that the VG30DETT is a stronger motor. Capabilities after modification is totally unpredictable. You keep going off on different tangents.

I never asked for any of that. Go back and read the thread. Again, you're only cop out is to change the subject matter. I really don't give a fuck about half the shit you posted. I've seen it all before and nothing in your last post was related to the one and only point I was making in this thread. Drifter is the only person who posted anything relevant to the argument, and I admitted that I was wrong about the strength of the RB26DETT.

What the fuck does a page full of drag times of modified Skylines have to do with how much power the stock block can hold? Drifter already supplied the info to show that I was wrong about the RB26. It still does not prove which is stronger; they both seem comparable.

Did you happen to notice that all that was in response to me after I posted some of the other stuff?
Not only that, but most of them are ambiguous.
Strongest this, strongest that.
The only ones I see that state specifically strongest on stock internals are.
"Show me another Nissan motor that can soundly support 650rwhp without any internal work."
which in response I said the rb26
and also
"I stated that the VG30DETT was the strongest Nissan motor (meaning materials; build; power it can withstand on stock block). I challenged the other Nissan motors, specifically the RB26DETT, to stand up to the VG30DETT's capability of ~650HP."
which I provided 749 for the rb26
Now, when I specifically ask you what you are claiming, and you respond with an ambiguous statement over and over like you quoted above "strongest motor" can mean a number of things LIKE I'VE BEEN SAYING.
Most hp stock, most hp stock internals, most hp modified.
You didn't clarify until the very end after I had already gone and posted the rest of the stuff.

I am seriously done here. Anybody reading this can see that there was a good debate; I was proved incorrect in my assumption; and you are one of God's special children. I don't know what else you have to try to prove, unless you want to reiterate that you are a fucking idiot.
If you still have problems reading, that is YOUR problem. If you're hoping this will continue to escalate, go pick a fight with someone else. I have run out of tolerance for pitiful weak-minded people.

Not really. It makes more power than any stock Nissan motor, second only to the VG30DET. And it is N/A, so it can be argued that it is superior to the Z32's engine. Nissan's engineers certainly think so. I believe they even boasted that in the 350Z brochure.

Here is where I asked you to clarify what you were claiming.

So first you said it's the "mother of all nissan motors".
For the record that can be interpreted a number of different ways.
Next you said, strongest in stock form. Well that's wrong becaue the rb26 from r34 gtrs puts down more completely stock and the vg30.
So in order to avoid any further confusion, what exactly are you now trying to say the engine does?

You are right, it shouldn't be an issue. Do your research and you will see that the VG30 is much stronger than the RB26. You and I both like to argue when we think we are right.
But this is one you cannot win if the argument is to be based on fact rather than opinion.
