Exclamation i hope its not boost creep

my car was overboosting with a 14b turbo. i replaced the wastegate actuator and it was fine after that. now i put on a big 16g turbo that i ported the hell out of (wastegate hole, turbine housing, outlet hole) along with my ported 1g o2 housing and now when i boost it goes to 15psi where i set it at and then when the rpms get higher the boost goes up with it then POW the intercooler pipe blows off at 22 psi. my exhaust system consists of thermal research 3" pipe from the flex pipe back and 2.5 from flex pipe to the turbo. what do you think the problem is? i was thinking that i need to try different vacuum lines and T fittings.

Boost spike is fun. Are you using a boost controller at all? Look on www.vfaq.com they give a write-up on how to minimize boost creep with porting (Just incase you missed something). Also checking your hoses and t fittings wouldn't hurt..
