Our next door neighbor is looking for a home for their dog. She is a 3 year old Basset/Beagle mix. She has been spayed and is up to date on her shots. Our neighbor is in her 70's and she just can't take care of the dog any more. She keeps her grandchildren during the day and the dog and can't handle the dog and the kids. The dog is great with kids. Not sure how she is with other dogs, but she sees our dog every day from the other side of the fence and seems friendly enough.

I would love to take her, but I think it would be too hard on the kids to see their dog living next door and too confusing for the dog as well.
