I think they do a visual inspection to check to see if you have a cat.

theres no emissions down here in hampton roads area.. I believe its only in Northern VA. They only do a visual check to see if you have a cat on the car, as stated above.

 

Not in our area, they were gonna but we passed the air test. But they are trying. The councils of virginia are watching close. dee

 

Cool cause i'm about to get my exhaust done and was curious to go with a cat or without. Here in pittsburgh in certain parts they require a cat. I ordered a magnaflow hi flow one so i think im going to just get it put in when the exhaust gets done.

 

if u run no cat be careful ive seen cops pull people over for exhaust take one look under the car and just walk back and start writing tickets...just hope u dont get the select cops who are just looking for a reason to write a ticket
