When im driving there is a misfire before it gets up to about 2200 rpms, after that its ok. Its off and on. One minute its driving great, the next its barely going. Any ideas?

 

distributor cap leads are wearing down, loss of ignition power, spark plug wires have some sort of short in them, ignitor is going bad,rotor needs replacing, loose power wire somewhere, fuel pump hesitating, etc etc, start with the ignition, get a multimeter and test everything.
