i know it's probably not right... but i can't help it. tailgating is my biggest pet peeve... next to people that STOP in the ACCELERATION lane getting onto the interstate.

i turn around, flick them off, then get run off the road, and nearly get my ass beat by a 6'5" 300lbs south african lunatic... actually thats the last time i did that, found out sometimes theres someone crazier than you on the road, now i just speed up or try and change lanes to let them get around depending on the situation

 

That is some bullshit (not doubting the validity of your statement), now they'll endanger someones life to get them to speed and then ticket them. Bullshit.

As far as what I do, I never really allow myself to go slow enough to be tailgated. If someone is tail gating me at 90mph, then they can have the road, i'll get out of the way.

My most memorable incident comes from when I had started riding the R6 and was out with the KHC, I was leading the pack, and some little prick cut the rest of the group off and got right up on my ass. From what everyone who was riding behind me said, if I had began braking in the slightest, i would have been hit. This is the main reason I speed. Its a safety measure to insure that no dumb ass cagers are around me.
