Any of you guys know if it is possible to remove the rear window diffuser from the 06 STI? I know the rear wing is bolted in like 17 places, but what about the diffuser vane on the rear window? Thanks for the info.

 

Probably bonded on with some type of adhesive tape or film. Holes in glass cost money.

 

Gotcha, never looked close at the setup. Figured it was some type of two part poly adhesive. Holes in glass? Does it actually interface with the rear glass? Thanks for the info though.

I don't remember if the diffuser is on the glass, although I think it is. I figured they used the same glass up through the model chain and just stuck on a diffuser for the STi. I'll have to go to one of the dealers here and check it out..

 

Appreciate it. I have one right down the street from me, I will go check tomorrow. Trying to decide on what the new ride is going to be..probably shouldn't mention the choices here but (all 06, GTO, STI, or 350Z). Thanks for the info.
