Default Power Steering Problem

Hi my power steering was messed up kept making noises and the belt kept getting stuck.. so i took off the power steering belt.. is it ok to run ur car with out power steering? or will it mess up something please let me know thank you

Not true. If your car has power steering...

it has a power steering, steering rack.

If no fluid gets ran through it...


Guess what? You'll damage it.

You can mod it to run a closed loop through the rack n pinion to save for any future damage, if it isnt already damaged (not from you yet, but from w/e the noise is)

The fluid acts as a lubricant for your rack, so technically you can get a bit of damage.

But, if you decide not to do any of that shit (like me) you can only damage it so much as to stop you from running PS w/o a new rack n pinion.

really the only drawback is that it will cost more to get PS back

But hey, fuck power steering.
