car trouble... wont idel
i just recently rebuilt my motor and installed it when i hooked everything up and proceeded to start it.. it turns over fine but i have to pump the gas alot to get it to catch to actually get started.. but if i let go of the gas it dies, it backfires a little bit in the lower rpms but its fine as it gets past 2k or so this is the first times the car has been started so i mean .. anyone got any ideas or any info of what it could be not keeping an idel. i got lightweight flywheel and crank maybe.. the idel screw, tps sensor? or what?? maybe someone can help me thanks its a 4g63 gst eclipse new everything

no timing ios right.. mahcine shop timed it and plugs are in right order.. hrm new plugs, plug wires, pretty much everything is new. its all timed right i have hks adjustable gears there still at 0 on each did not advance or retard them

heh yeah i got that pluged in.. i was talking to ross. at dtp and he said i might have to adjust my screw on my TB or something b/c of my lightweight crank and flywheel but i dont know what im doing when it gets into all of that crap. i mean my coil back said 4 1 2 3 but i have it pluged in as 1 4 3 2 i think it starts like that.. but one of them might be wrong not to sure

new.. i got it to idel today.. i was messing w/ the throttle cable and it seemed a bit loose so i had to tighten that up a little bit but it still backfires alot when its ideling maybe its that iac screw he was talking about above me but i dont know how to mess w/ taht stuff heh

check the plug order... my car did that after i put the motor back together... i thought the parts i added made my car sound beast and back fire... but it was just wrong spark plug wire order haha..

your taking ross's advise?..............i was going to let him dyno tune my car till i found out how many cars hes blown up on the dyno....ill be going to dyno inc.
