Default Question to all you WS6 people...

I have a guy w/ a x men edition firebird. He has full koni yellows and al lthe extra crap on it. How the f**k do you adjust the struts? I tried to get to the adjustment from the top but it did not stick out anywhere. Is it on the bottom of the strut? I didn't get a chance to look under the car but i always thought koni yellows were adjusted from the top.
Can anybody help me or am i dumb and the rubber thing covering up one of the holes is also covering the adjuster. I didn't c anything under it but maybe i didn't look enough.
thanx

check to see if there is a small flat slot on the strut tops. most Koni yellows that i've worked on had a plastic adjuster that sits on top. the other place is down towards the bottom near where the pickup point is. you could also jack the car up and unload the suspension, then try turning the actual strut body.

see, that's my problem. You cannot see the top of the strut. The only parts of the strut you can see, from the top, is the 2 nuts that hold it to the strut tower. I'll check under the car. My reason for thinking it was at the top is that he had the little plastic adjuster thingy that fit the sloted part of the top of the strut.
oh well, i'll figure it out.
Thanx for you help!!

nope, on top. It's actually at the bottom of the strut. You adjust it w/ a flat head screwdriver. Thanx though!!
